The Last Samurai
Hey, I am sure most of you heard about the story, though it depends on which version you watch, the one in the 1970's, or the recent Tom Cruise one. It doesn't really matter because the story I wan to tell you is the story of my last samurai. Tina is a Komatsu and also a Yeo. That is why her name is Christina Komatsu Yeo. One of the many many reasons why this is so is because of a lot of politics. First is that I want her to be a Japanese citizen, so a Japanese name is better. However, Yeo-Komatsu can also be just as good. The reason why I allowed it to be so is because she is the last of my wife's father's line. The Komatsu line is a line of land owners with quite a bit of power in the olden days. Now, my father in law has 2 girls. The eldest, whom I married and the second who is married to another Japanese man. The sister is the 13th descendant, however, she has to adopt her husband's name and their son will use the husband's name so the line ends there. I allowed my Christina to be a Komatsu first so that she can be the 14th generation. Hey, that means land and so on for her ok?... And of course being a Yeo, she will also get whatever I have left for her.
So she will be a happy pickle when she becomes of age and is able to accept everything that is hers.... But then she will definitely be the last of the Komatsu line because if she gets married, she will have to adopt her hubby's surname and the child she bears will have to take that name too... As for Yeo, well, there is always the chance of a second child... Only thing is... hehehe... whether I want to have another or not... hehehehe..
So I will have to train her well and make sure she is smart and stable enough to enjoy her life in the best possible way. A spoilt child will surely be the end of any line and name.
