A bad accident? A good thing?

Life is such that no matter what happens, whether it is good or bad, it all depends on how you take it and react to it.

Let me tell you a very interesting story that happened in the weekend just past. I was washing my buddhas and all the religious ornaments in my house. I have a few that are not for religion, but for fengshui. I have a special cabinet that has a crystal bowl and within it are some gems and gold. This is encased in a cabinet that has a light shining into the bowl all the time. I also have another vase next to the door, which has gems and ther valuables.

I was wiping the vase and was trying to put it back into its protected place when it dropped...!!! DOOM on ME lahhhh.... Some more it had cut my toe and I was bleeding like a pig.... (hmmmmm good analogy because I am fairly portly).... so I was going around going "wee wee weee" (which wasn't a smart thing because there was glass all over), the blood was dripping on the floor.... and I settled down..... "DOn't panic... don't panic". I called up my Fengshui master to tell him what happened, he said not to worry, we will get a replacement for it soon and it does not affect my luck in anyway.... and once I had that settled, I went to clean the wound and then clean the mess....

Life is like that ladies an gents.... A bad thing may be a good thing in disguise... but even if it isn't... it is never as bad as it seems... I a just thanking my lucky stars that I was all alone.... (A bit ashamed at going Wee weee wee... hehehehe) but it is true... not many Singaporeans can stand the sight of blood... My sis would faint, my demented mom would probably start to pray to Buddha so that the doom would not befall on us and so on. And as long as nothing really siginificantly bad would befall on me in terms of fengshui.. It is not all that bad!!!

But to be truthful, it is not all that bad... I have successfully bid for my special number... which cost me a bomb!!! This number will be the new number for my new car.... And although a lot of people ask me why I am paying so much for a stupid number...... I would say that it is a good number... it is a lucky number and it will be mine for a long time... It is better than the other time when I got my other car.... got a lucky number... but forgot to get a lucky day and time to collect the car... in the end.... the engine blew up within a year.... but that could be because of my own.. ahem ahem backside itchiness too lah.... after all, you cannot turn a donkey into a racehorse.... hehehehhe

Well thats all for my story and wonderful weekend.

Cheers and peace out.

I'mmmmm baaaaaacccckkkkk

It has been so long since I last blogged.... I am sure no one missed me, but I do not care.... hehehehehhee

My dream car should come in end May and I have bid an ungodly amount of almost 3k for the number 8822, so if everything falls into place, I will be able to collec my car in early June. I will know if I am successful for the number by today. If I am... good.... but if I am not, then we gotta really try to find the number some how. I believe in my Fengshui master's words, so if he says get this number, I will do so. It is not that I am being weak minded or whatever, but it is better to do what you are told.

As for doing what we are told, I had a very interesting trip to Kimchi land last week. I was there to look after a doctor from Sweden and from the first day, we had a really interesting time. His flight was delayed... So I was frantic that his limousine was still waiting for him at the airport. When he arrived at the hotel, I took one look and said.... "F*** me...." He did not have any luggage.... When I asked him where his luggage was, he said it was lost in Beijing..... Man....I am wondering how the Olympics will be held and run..... For me... personally I would not even want to be anywhere near there anytime in the near or distant future.

So I asked the Dr what he would like to do for dinner? Eat in his room? Eat in the hotel or outside..... He said outside and preferably in a typical Korean place..... Well we ended up in a typical korean place near the hotel.... and it could not get any more typical than a small place in a ide alley, where the only patrons were Korean and the staff could not even speak a word of English.... (A side note here.... ladies and gentlemen....if this is the case... you might also want to reconsider) So we managed to order some beer.... and I asked the manager what is nice.... he mentioned cuttlefish..... So thinking... ok lor.....at least we get their best dish..... BIG mistake man... it came out sashimi style and the tentacles were still wriggling when served.... If you touched the flesh... it moved!!!! Okay never mind... we go for fish.... It came out sashimi style too... DAMNED!!!! So I was really backside itchy.... I asked the manager for another dish.... but as long as it was not raw.... Out came sea snails..... RAW!!! Luckily the Dr did not have my balls served on the platter too man.... He was happy with his beer.

The next day passed pretty well, but the 3rd day was also pretty fun... I was supposed to be at the lobby at 7am Korean time... So I set my alarms and was pretty happy with myself. I sorta woke up at 5am and was thinking I had a bit more tme to sleep.... I looked at the clock again and it was 6am and said... okay.. better get ready to wake up and the phone rang.... my distributor was downstairs and so was the Dr.... Doooommm on me man..... I made Superman feel ashamed by getting all dressed and all ready in 5 minutes and I even brushed my teeth properly and dressed properly hor.... So in my suit and tie and with my dark glasses.... I went down within 10 minutes... but told everyone to leave me alone to "wake up" for another 10 minutes. My fatal mistake??? Sillypore is 1 hour behind Korea and Japan... so my 6am was actually already 7am.... Silly mistake man!!!!

But after that day... I made sure that all my clocks were either changed or I made an effort to be sure the local time was what I thought it was and nothing more happened.

I would say that being in a foreign country can be quite stressful and especially when you are there for work... More people think that flying around was such a great thing, however it is not.... I would readily give anyone my job and be a simple farmer man......

Anyway... so much for life in Kimchi land......

Cheers.
