My family curse... (curse!!%^&*((*&^)

I was reading V's blog about how unfit he was and I sorta felt the same way about myself. The thing is I live on the 10th floor and I really dread if there is a black out and I have to walk all the way up..... It will definitely be ICU (Intensive Care Unit) time for me after that.

So struck by my guilty conscience and a wish to live a slightly longer life.... just slightly only hor please hor.... I decided that I would try to walk and or run and or crawl around my estate every weekend. Or if and when I can..... which will probably be never. Hee heeee.... So I asked my mom to buy me a sports shorts..... Please do take note of the word "a". The reason being that I am usually too busy to go buy something like that, and I also want to give my mommy deares at least a feeling that she is doing something for her son..... which even if I ask, she will eventually forget.... Imagine... I asked the Energizer Rabbit to buy me a pair of shoe laces for my work shoes because the ones I have are about to meet the maker..... That was 4 weeks ago.... and only yesterday she remembered.... I have already bought them myself because if I were to wait for her.... I would already have met with my maker....

Anyway, knowing that the spirrit and the body are not willing for any physical activity unless it is horizontal and with a female, I told the energizer rabbit to buy only 1 pair, but she bought 4 pairs.... (Worry.. worry) One other reason is that I do not really trust her taste and if she bought the wrong type, I'd be stuck.... I nearly fell over my oversized office chair.... and I do have a pretty large office chair.... Now what am I gonna do with 4 pairs of shorts when my usual dressing is the FBO of all office staff, slacks, shirts and sometimes a tie? Man.... that is the curse of my family.... No one listens to me or if they do, they soon forget!!! Curses!!!!

It is hard to be a leader of a family that makes the Simpsons look normal. Look at my energizer rabbit. She claims that she wants to save money and yet spends a lot. I know that she needs to beautify herself to make herself feel good, however, sometimes I do wonder why at the tender age of almost 70, she still wants to do skin whitening and get rid of eye bags and so on..... But Ce la vive, Ce la vive, live and let live.

Then comes my sis who spoils her children rotten and says that she wants to leave them with whatever she can.... yea right.... and when she kicks off, who the hell will be handed those spoilt rotten children!!?? No thanks man.

A lady wrote on the newsaper forum that as a parent her job is not to make her children happy. That means that she makes them greet and thank people properly. Makes them take responsibility for their actions and so on. She makes them study, turns off the tv and so on. And that is what I think is the way to bring up a child. Give them everything, don let them suffer and when you are gone, boy... will they suffer.

For me, I plan to make my children work for everything they want. If they want to go out for a meal outside, they will have to behave. If they want extra money, they will have to do chores around in the house. If they want presents, they must perform well in their tasks. Me and my wife will not be inconsistent. Today I am in bad mood so I will punish my child or children for their misbehaviour and tomorrow because they look so cute, I will let them go. I have always said that I am getting too old and I guess my age shows. That is also why I am so worried when my mom wants to come over to look after them. She will spoil them rotten and children do have a way of targetting the softy. They will cling to her and she will feel good. But then she will try to run the way me and my wife look after the children and we will have problems then. Looking after does not mean giving and or being soft. Sometimes we will hurt our children if we are too soft. So ladies and gentlemen, do spare a thought for your cildren lah... Don spoil them lah... Allow them the chance of becoming better citizens in our fair country, not selfish and self centred future leaders of Sillypore.

Cheers and Peace man.....
