Life and times of the Energizer Rabbit

My darling Energizer Rabbit had a big quarrel with my sis again and moved out. The reason?? She thinks that my sister is not giving her enough face, listening to her and so on. This is bloody childish behaviour because lets face it lah, we are all adults and we have our own lives to lead. Though she has lost her husband, my dad, she has not lost everything. But in her own petty little insecurities, she thought that she lost her children when they found their ow prospective mates. So like a child, she listened and believed in the poison of others. She also started to hate the boyfriend of my sister. Now her hatred has turned to hatred of my sis too.

The question is why and how does the Energizer Rabbit go on and on and on and on and on .... aiyooooooo.

Lets face it lah hor boys and girls, when we grow old, it is only natural to lose a certain amount of say in the daily lives of our children. For me, I will be happier to be rid of my own children if I have any because it will mean time and peace. Time for ourselves, time for me. A lot fo people are afraid of being alone. For me, I prefer to be a lone wolf. It may seem strange, but lets face it, you can do what you want to do when you want. That is the ultimate man!!!! I admit that to go out alone sometimes is a bit sian. To eat alone is sometimes a bit lonely, but then you can eat when you want and where you want. I also guess that it is the way some people think and are brought up. For me, I want my children to be independant. They will have to learn the consquences of their decisions and also their actions and answer for it. In that way, they will leave the nest and I WILL NOT have empty nest syndrome.

For my mom, she is like a child. She has reverted back into being a child and that is where the sad part lies. And for being a child, she throws tantrums, mkes scenes and so on. All for what? So that she can be seen to be the poor thing? Aiya, poor thing is that everyone is laughing at her. Not with her. One day, we will all be gone and she will be going on and on.... and she will be lonely because she has pushed away those who are most important to her in her attempt to get what she wants, which is to feel like she is queen and leader. No leader is worth anything if it is leading no one. This also comes in play when you are in the corporate scene.

I know of people who think that they want to be leaders. It feels great to have people pawing at you and also to make you feel good. However, there will come a time when the people below you will knock you off your feet and if your head is high up in the clouds, you will come falling down so hard. That is why for me, you can call me toilet cleaner, ah boy or whatever, but SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!! As long as the money is good, I do not care the title or the job.

The times of the great colonial master is gone. Be it home or work. Those who have such high egos will only look forward to a fall. Those who fall will find it difficult to climb up again. Especially those who are old... So you old farts out there..... Be careful hor......
