Rainy days and wierd weather

Its been a rainy past few days and I have not been able to catch the moon clearly, let alone been able to use the big bazooka.

I am not sure, but I was sure that the rainy season started a bit later in the year leh. But there is always the chance that this Sat will be a bit clearer and we can go and try to see something. Almost everyone agrees that Star Gazing is much better and safer than modding and racing. I must also point that I do not race hor. But it is true lah.... the only thing is that now the battery for the mount is not working properly and I will have to get it changed. I am thinking of going soon because if not, then this weekend I will not be able to move the 8"'s mount.

And if I can't use the 8", then there is nothin much that can be seen. But actually if the wather is cloudy, then there will be nothing to be seen at all even if we use any scope.... hehehehehe

Astrology has always been an interest of mine. To be able to see other planets and stars and to be able to see the moon as clearly as I have using the small scope. I guess that when we have a respect of how insignificant we are, that we will be able to start wondering what is outside our own little world.
