New Year.... But Old Problems and Complaints

2007 started off pretty badly. I guess it was my fault because on the eve, we were rushing to watch the fireworks and there was an Altis on my butt..... He was pushing me all the way and I took the chance to push him back..... But then..... it started off fireworks between me and my wifey too because she hates me speeding or driving aggressively.

In the end, the cold war lasted almost 2 days and I was the one who surrendered. It was like the fall of Singapore in 1940....... Most ignoble.....

Anyway, everything is back in order and I have been busy working. I am not planning on modding my car anymore... In fact, it will be going back to stock liao.... wifey is more important to me than any other thing in life. And that includes car.

But then I would also like to take this opportunity to speak about the stupidity of the people who planned the fireworks event and also the people who participated. The whole stretch of road from the speed camera on the ECP before the bridge to after the bridge had a lot of people illegally parked by the road shoulder. It is an expressway and there should be better places to park. It created huge jams going into the area. I really am surprised at the selfishness of my fellow Singaporeans. Of course, I will not mention the mismanagement of the planners of the event. I would have stayed at home and not bothered to go out had I remembered how stupid Singaporeans can get.

Goin home was also chock a block and there were so many idiots who kept trying to switch lanes. This is the cause of accidents my dear readers. Keep at a constant speed on your own lane and you will be okay. If you try to rush into a clearing, our push the guy in front... something will happen.

That is why, the new year brings hope, but then the old problems and complaints will always be there.
