Life is interesting
This blog is not directed at any one party and or group of people. But I do know of quite a lot of unrealistic people who want things that are out of their reach. This may be a lifestyle, a house, a car or whatsoever.
I know of someone who wants to buy a million over dollar house just because she thinks that she is dying and wants to buy the house so that her children will have a roof over their heads. Yea... and then 20 years later, when everyone is dead, you will see the sons fighting over the house. Some more, the problem with Singapore children is that they are so spoilt that they are unable to survive on their own.
I also know of people who want to be rich tai tais and lau pans. But what are their qualifications and or experience? Unless the God of Chance and or Money smiles on you, the chances of hitting it big is really so slim that you might be better off working hard. It is true. Many people want good lives and or better things. But then, where did we come from and where do we want to go. How can we get there?
All this will also spread to our children and in the end, we have children who think that just because their parents are like that, they also want to be like that. Let me give an example, there is an Esso gas station near my place. There was one evening when I was in line and I noticed a gentleman (please pay attention to the sarcasm) who was making noise, acting obnoxious and so on. Then when he returned to his car, a small kid cut the queue and stood in front of me. (I am not trying to be funny) One look at her face, I knew wo the father was..... and of course the attitude was also a great signal.
We are what we breed. And our breed follows us. Inconsideration, rudeness, carelessness are all not genetically transferable I think. These are behaviours and behavious are not in-born. Being Butt Ugly on the other hand is unfortunately genetic I think. As for being stupid.,.... the jury is out on it....
So my dearest readers, have a heart. Be nice to others and also be smart. Live the life you can live and not aspire for the life that you can't have. You can hope and dream, but you have to work for it.
